Info: Jack and Sally are based on the charecters from The Nightmare Before Christmas and were commissioned by Tracey.

For Jack, I wanted to take the pony from cute to slightly scary, but keeping the feel of the cute pony. Instead of just painting on his skull, I scuplted it, taking some elements from how a horse's head actually looks, but trying to keep it a little cartoonish. His stripes are painted unevenly, to match the feel of the movie. He's also got a Santa hat, that I forgot to photograph.

At first, I planned on giving Sally real hair, but broke my rehairing needle. It was a good thing--I think the sculpted hair really brings her to a new level. I was a little concerned that her eyes were going to look too freaky, but I think they came out really lovely.
