Sir Percy Sir Percy Sir Percy Sir Percy

Name: Sir Percy
Date: 09-19-2010
Bait: G1 Earth Pony - Parasol
Materials: Acrylic paint, Dollyhair nylon in Sunlight, Buttercream, and another blonde, Rit dye in crimson and coca. Hat is felt with a dyed feather and silver button.
Info: One of my best friends requested a pony based on her favorite booke/movie/everything - The Scarlet Pimpernel. So, this is my interpretation. She refers to the pony as 'hir', using genderless pronouns. I am not very good with them, so I can him a him or a her at random.
He has a dashing hat with a giant, overstated feather; sleepy, crystal blue eyes; big, shinning curls that are slightly teased at the ends; and his body sparkles all over. His cutie mark is a watercolor-inspired pimpernel. I wanted to make it very faint, almost like it blends into the rest of her body and can be over looked. Originally, he was also going to have a silk cape, but I decided against it.
I dyed him red and then painted over the whole body with thinned down red shimmer so that she's got a shimmer all over--through her hair, her body, etc.
The hat is created from felt that's been partially stiffened with Mod Podge. The feather is a big, giant red one that I found in my box of various things.
